Carl has been playing guitar for many years having started playing at the age of 10, and getting his first electric when he was 13. School bands were the start, and by the age of 18 or 19 Carl was playing regularly in semi-professional bands and touring the UK.

Carl has also worked as a session guitarist, and played on a Colin Blunstone single, an album for Saga front man Michael Sadler, and also worked with Stuart Elliot (Kate Bush, Cockney Rebel).

He has also produced an album for Marc Lewis - singer of the cult 80s band The Snake Corps, and played live with the band at an amazing reunion gig in Barcelona in 2010.

Carl’s own personal guitar hero is blues legend Tony McPhee from the Groundhogs, recently Carl has had the enormous pleasure of getting to meet Tony and play some blues with him!
